Dawson Saloon

Picture of Dawson Saloon

Saloons were common on and near the square.  Probably the most interesting one to all of us is that of the Dawson Saloon. It was built in the early 1890s and was a single-story limestone building, with a division through the middle. One side was used as a saloon; the other for another business. It has evolved into Greer’s Ranch Restaurant.
