Fire Marshal's Office
The City of Stephenville has adopted the 2015 International Fire Code.
All plans and submittals should be sent to permits@stephenvilletx.gov
Each year, the Stephenville Fire Marshal's Office conducts fire inspections to ensure the safety of occupants and to help reduce the occurrence of fire in buildings throughout Stephenville.
The Fire Marshal's Office is also responsible for several other activities including:
- Commercial plan reviews on new construction projects and remodels
- Fire safety education and prevention programs
- Investigation of fires and explosions
- Installing residential smoke alarms

All inspection requests require a minimum of 24 hours notice.
