On February 2, 2021, the Stephenville City Council approved Ordinance No. 2021-O-05 calling a bond election to be held on May 1, 2021.  Registered voters in the city of Stephenville will have the opportunity to vote "For" or "Against" the following propositions:
 

Proposition A

$8 million to design, construct, and equip a combined use facility to house a library, senior citizens center, and recreation center

Prop A Cost - $0.3801 per $1,000 valuation

Proposition B

$5.385 million for public improvements in the historic downtown area

Prop B Cost - $0.2562 per $1000 valuation

Proposition C

$2.16 million for improvements to Belknap Street, from the Fort Worth and Western Railroad to Mason Street

Prop C Cost - $0.1036 per $1,000 valuation

Proposition D

$3.73 million for improvements to First, Second, Fifth, Sixth, Cage, and Swan Streets

Prop D Cost - $0.1781 per $1000 valuation

Proposition E

$2 million for the extension of the Bosque River Trail

Prop E Cost - $0.0961 per $1,000 valuation
